In a World that is increasingly concerned with climate change \u00a0issues; using Electric Vehicles (EVs)is the latest avenue to claim one is being environmentally friendly. \u00a0Is using an Electric Car for transportation really an activity that has positive impact on the climate? Or is it just shifting the negative impact on climate elsewhere?\u00a0<\/p>

Only about 20% of electricity in the World\u2019s largest global economies is generated from renewable resources. 70% of power in India and China\u00a0 is generated from fossil energy, 47% of power in Europe is generated from petroleum products and solid fossil fuels, and most of the US power was generated by natural gas, nuclear energy of coal in 2020\u00a0with only 20% from renewable sources.<\/p>
